Teenager Faces Charges for Threatening Creston Middle School

(Creston) A teen was charged with making Terroristic Threats in Creston.

The Creston Police Department says at approximately 11:12 p.m. on Wednesday, it was reported that a Creston Middle School student made threats to bring a gun to school on Thursday. This student had allegedly sent pictures and videos to other students with this threat.

Officers investigating these allegations made contact with the suspect and his parents. After interviewing the suspect he was charged and turned over to juvenile authorities.

In other activity, Creston Police cited 76-year-old Michael Joseph Spaulding on Wednesday for Operating While Under the Influence 1st Offense. Spaulding was released on a promise to appear.

Andres Martinez, 28, was arrested Wednesday for Domestic Abuse Assault 1st Offense. Martinez was taken to the Union County Jail and held on no bond until seen by a judge.
