University of Göttingen Application Process

  • Following the successful completion of the admissions board screening by the candidate, the candidate will give a thesis project presentation to the admissions panel. The panel will then decide on the candidate’s admission to the Ph.D. program.
  • The University of Göttingen is a required place of study for all doctoral candidates during the duration of their PhD thesis project. There is no deadline for enrollment for PhD candidates. They can do this at any time of the year. The enrollment fee is approximately 400 EUR per semester.
