On December 4, Back 2 School America Activated the Metro Phoenix Holiday Build-a-Kit Event; 800 School Supply Kits were Assembled for Local Students and Families in Need This Holiday Season

On Wednesday, December 4, Back 2 School America, a national nonprofit organization well-known for providing essential Back 2 School Kits to disadvantaged students, announced a Metro Phoenix Holiday Build-A-Kit Event, where numerous volunteers assembled gift-wrapped 800 Back 2 School Supply Kits for local Metro Phoenix families facing greater hardships this holiday season. These kits were given to the Navajo Nation and PANG Patriots, a non-profit organization that supports Phoenix Air National Guard families.

The event, which was hosted at Nextiva, a cloud communications company based in Scottsdale, was named the top “Business Phone Software” by US News, it also features participation from companies, including Verizon, CA Ventures, Open Wide Dental, and Our Kitchen to Yours. 

The Holiday Build-a-Kit event aims to help low-income families who face additional financial burdens during the holidays. It becomes difficult to arrange for the essential school supplies for their children.

This event matters a lot because low-income families find it difficult to provide their children with the school supplies they need during the holidays. The Holiday Build-a-Kit event strives to increase student participation and self-confidence while reducing the financial burden on low-income families and reducing the number of children who lack the resources needed to excel in their studies.

For many students back-to-school shopping may just be shopping, but numerous students don’t have any supplies before starting school.

Build-A-Kit Event 

In the Build-a-Kit event, volunteers collect needed school supplies for students in need. These personalized PreK to High School packages will come with pens, notebooks, pencils, and other essential school supplies.
