TUSD was one of seven school districts to receive a grant. The total amount awarded through this school grant program was $120,000.
Trico’s COVID-19 Assistance Program has provided over $750,000 in grants and aid to its Members, local charity organizations and schools. “As an electric distribution cooperative, one of our core principles is Concern for Community, and this program is just one of the many ways Trico can give back during such challenging times,” said Laree St. Onge, Manager, Public Affairs and Sustainable Energy Programs.
“Tucson Unified is very appreciative of the Trico partnership and the support they have continued to give to our schools through this grant,” said John Muir, TUSD COO.
TUSD thanks the Trico Foundation, these additional PPE supplies are critical as they welcome our students back to campus the week of March 22nd.
