Join Chandler-Gilbert Community College as they host the 2nd annual Night of Opportunities, an open house focused on connecting our Hispanic community with college resources. The tailored open house will offer current and incoming students along with their families, information on a variety of available resources including the enrollment process, financial aid, career services, and scholarships opportunities.
Whether students are looking to earn an associate degree, getting a head start on a bachelor’s degree, or seeking workforce training, CGCC is ready to equip students with the tools necessary to pursue a higher education. Why: “Night of Opportunities allows students and their families to explore and leverage the college’s resources, giving them a pathway to success and putting them on track to degree completion,” said Felicia Ramirez-Perez, Dean of Enrollment services at CGCC. “It is a way to connect future Hispanic students and their families to the college.” By 2020, two-thirds of Arizona jobs will require some type of post-secondary education. Currently, only 20% of Arizona’s Hispanic residents age 24-to-64 have obtained an associate’s degree or better.
