Kofa High School will be collecting food items on Friday for the Yuma Community Food Bank as part of the 2014 Food Bowl. The Food Bowl is an effort to collect non-perishable food items to help needy families in the Yuma area, partners include KECY-TV, Burgers & Beer, Yuma Union High School District, and Yuma Catholic.

Kofa High School students will be competing in a contest between homeroom classes to see who can collect the most food as well as competing against all the other high schools in town to see which one can gather the highest weight of food and win the 2014 Food Bowl Trophy.
