Tucson Police had launched an investigation into a fatal shooting, Wednesday evening, involving one man’s death and another injured person in a grave state.

The shooting took place about 9:00 p.m. near the 2400 block of N. Haskell Drive, near the intersection of Grant Road and Alvernon Way. At the scene, police found one man who had died from a gunshot wound. Another man, also shot, was taken to the hospital where, according to reports Thursday morning, he remains stable.

The investigators are piecing together what led to the shooting, but more information has not been released yet. Tucson Police urge anyone who has any information regarding the case to contact authorities.

Detectives are still actively conducting the investigation as they continue gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
