Shocking Crash on Gene Snyder Man Killed After Being Rear Ended Suspect Arrested!

Officials from the Louisville Metro Police Department report that a man is dead in a crash on the Gene Snyder Freeway, which occurred early Saturday morning.

The accident was reported just before 4:20 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the freeway near the Bardstown Road exit. According to preliminary reports, a vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle traveling at an excessive speed.

The impact force sent the first car off the road, rolling it over when the first responders arrived on the scene to find that the driver was dead.

The driver of the other vehicle stayed behind. The police interrogated him, but they suspected him to be drunk. He was detained and taken to UofL Hospital with minor injuries.

The Authorities are still investigating the accident. There is no confirmed release of information yet regarding the victim or the driver, who is believed to be intoxicated.
