Each weekend, Black Hawks may be found throughout the community, from local grocery stores to neighborhood, seeking non-perishable food donations.

On Saturday, Nov. 8, the school was in the Bashas’ parking lot at Elliot and Higley roads, and community military partners – including the Army and Navy – helped with donations and loading  food.

Donations can be taken to the school at, 2076 S. Higley Road, Gilbert, through Nov. 18. Last year the school collected more than 17,000 pounds of food.
