Williams Field High School’s DECA program earned accolades during the recent state competition and one Black Hawk was named a state leaders.
Williams Field High School junior Amanda Alibrandi will serve as a state leader next school year for the DECA program. Amanda will be one of eight state officials for DECA.
Seven Black Hawks will move on to the International DECA Competition, which will be held in May in Atlanta. Sophomores Conner Leonescu and Damen Rhoads took second place overall in the 30-Page Written Event: Entrepreneurship—Growing Your Business.
The worldwide DECA program works to teach students about business, leadership, marketing, finance, hospitality and management.
