The Tennessee Highway Patrol is calling on the public to help in the search for an auto involved in a fatal hit-and-run on Highway 43 near Smith Circle in Loretto. The accident occurred around 2:20 a.m. on, October 26.
THP says the vehicle possibly crashed is a white or silver extended cab pickup truck, possibly a Ford Ranger or Mazda from 2000 to 2010. Officials believe that the truck suffered front-end damage and was last headed north towards Lawrenceburg after the accident.
Authorities are urging anyone with any information about the vehicle or the person driving it to get in touch with the Tennessee Highway Patrol office in Lawrenceburg at (615) 744-3099.
