Superintendent Search begins with Open Public Forums, Jan. 12 & 14

WHAT:           Community members will have the opportunity to provide input on what they would like to see in a new superintendent at three Open Forums, January 12 and 14. The forums will be conducted by Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates, an executive search firm hired by the Phoenix Union Governing Board.  A first step in the search process is to identify the characteristics the community and Board will be seeking in a superintendent.

In addition, an online survey will be available for stakeholder input at from January 11 to January 21.

Superintendent Search begins with Open Public Forums, Jan. 12 & 14 PUHSD-logo-clr-300x300Dr. Chad Gestson is currently the interim superintendent, taking over for Dr. Kent Scribner, who left Phoenix Union in October to lead Fort Worth (TX) Independent School District.
