Sinagua National History Day

National History Day at Sinagua Middle School is always a highly anticipated event for the students and teachers.

As you walk through the gym and the two mini auditoriums you are immediately struck by the hard work that was put into the displays and projects produced by the 6th through 8th grade students in their social studies classes.

Each student had the choice of producing an exhibit, webpage, or video presentation on a historical topic or person.  All exhibits were displayed throughout the gym with the films and webpages available in the auditoriums.

There was a wide range of topics including wars, human rights, science and technology, and historic figures.

These projects were evaluated and some of the students may be invited to enter the state competition with those winners to be invited to the national competition.

We will keep you informed on the students who will be invited to the state competition and their progress.
