The Southwest Pathways Conference is the premier convention on promising ways to revive the American Dream in Arizona.

This year’s conference – May 2 through 4 at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton in Scottsdale, Arizona – will include national and regional leaders speaking about cutting-edge ways to improve student achievement and attainment including high-quality career and technical education, making more use of Education and Career Action Plans and other career development tools, and working more closely with business to improve career pathways.

Attendees of the 2016 conference will include a strong team of educators, business and non-profit leaders, and members of the Arizona Legislature. This is a unique opportunity to work together on ways we can improve education and workforce development in the state to support pathways to economic success for Arizona students.

The Global Pathways Institute is offering attendees from Arizona a general registration rate of $395 and a special registration rate of $250 for educators and nonprofits, which includes four meals, two evening receptions, and the opportunity to participate in pre-conference field trips to innovative programs.

“The conference would be extremely informative and valuable for any school board member concerned about our failure to prepare many students for success, and how we can change those results in Arizona” said William Symonds,  director of Arizona State University’s Global Pathways Institute.

“We will be featuring national, regional and state leaders on these issues, and have organized panels on how we can better meet the needs of Arizona business for skilled workers in seven key industries,” Symonds said.

Guests can take advantage of our discounted room rate at the Four-Diamond DoubleTree Resort in Scottsdale, AZ by visiting the Global Pathways Institute website and booking prior to April 9th. This room rate is available from April 29th to May 6th, so participants are welcome to come early or stay late!
