Pupil transportation funding for school districts and charter schools

Yesterday, in the Senate Education Committee during the discussion of SB 1683, schools transportation support;programs; appropriations, a concern was raised about not wanting to duplicate existing pupil transportation funding.

It is important to remember that school districts receive funding for bus miles transporting eligible students from their residence to school and back to their residence.
