Lexington police arrested two men in connection with a shooting Oct. 19 along Versailles Road that injured three people.
Police responded to the 1500 block of Versailles Road about 6:45 a.m. after getting reports of gunfire. Officers with the Lexington Police Department found two victims, who both had been shot. The victims were taken to a hospital, where one was listed in critical condition and the other had non-life-threatening injuries.
Shortly after, the third gunshot victim independently went to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
As the investigation unfolded, police arrested Jacob Fogal, 20, and accused him of two counts of first-degree assault and tampering with physical evidence in connection with the shooting. They also arrested Christopher Reed, 39, on counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, methamphetamine.
The Lexington Police Department is still investigating the incident and has not given further information at this time.
