Peoria Unified serves free summer meals to kids

Thanks to federal funding, the Peoria Unified School District will provide lunch for free to any child this summer, age 18 and under, Monday through Thursday. Breakfast will also be offered free to children in the month of June.

No identification is required to receive a free meal and students do not have to attend a Peoria Unified school.

Meals for those 18-years or older will cost $3.75. The menu is available at www.peoriaud.k12.az.us.

Meals will be provided to all children, ages 18 and under, without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
