The Center for Civic Participation hosts “Maricopa Votes,” a series of voter education issues and Maricopa Community College District Governing Board candidate forums through Nov. 2.

The Center for Civic Participation, a department of the Maricopa Community College District, strives to help citizens participate in civic education and make informed choices based on non-partisan information.

“The duty of educating our students, staff, and faculty extends to ensuring that they receive unbiased and objective information about the electoral candidates and ballot issues each election season. As a community college district, we serve the broader population as well, providing opportunities for Maricopa County citizens to be educated, informed and engaged in the electoral process,” said Lawrence Robinson, Director of the Center for Civic Participation.

All forums are free to attend and open to the public.
