As part of this partnership, Master Electronics’ employees both within the state of Arizona and across the U.S. of will have the opportunity to connect with a dedicated advising team to help them utilize this benefit.
Employees at Master Electronics’ Arizona location will have access to a dedicated advising team from the Enrollment Management division within Student Affairs who will assist with admissions, tuition benefit and financial aid navigation, advising, and success coaching for education programs offered at any of the 10 Maricopa Community Colleges.
“We are excited to partner with Master Electronics to provide their employees with personalized support while they seek to reach their professional and personal goals through upskilling and degree attainment,” said Darcy Renfro, Vice Chancellor of External Relations for the Maricopa Community Colleges. “This partnership is a wonderful opportunity for the local workforce and demonstrates the collaborative nature of business and education in helping employees grow and learn.”

Partnerships, like this one, serve to simplify the process of using tuition assistance benefits to earn an associate’s degree, certificate, and/or university transfer. The goal is to remove as many barriers as possible for working professionals to apply for admissions, register for classes, and meet their educational and career goals.
Master Electronics’ Chairman, Jamil Nizam states, “Our Superhero Take Flight program is designed for our employees to pursue their passions and dreams. Full-time Master Electronic employees can receive up to $4,000 per year in tuition assistance, and $16,000 over a four-year period. What elevates our program is we do not limit what program an employee can pursue. If they want to become a nurse or an electrician, then the Superhero Take Flight Program will help them achieve their dreams.”
“Sometimes taking the first step to discover those passions can be scary and intimidating. We are thrilled to partner with Maricopa Community Colleges to assist our employees in taking that first step and having the continued support on their journey. This provides our employees across the United States with hundreds of affordable paths to pursue their dreams and have a greater impact in our communities and our organization,” Nizam added.
