Man taken to hospital after being found shot in Valley Station

A man was taken to the hospital Monday morning after an early shooting incident in the Valley Station neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) officials.

Officers from LMPD’s Third Division initially responded around 6:30 a.m. to reports of a disturbance in the 4200 block of Glen Hill Manor Drive. Shortly before their arrival, the call escalated to a shooting response. Upon reaching the scene, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to UofL Hospital, where his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening, officials reported. LMPD confirmed that all individuals involved in the incident have been accounted for. 

The Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is actively investigating to understand the circumstances of the incident. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact LMPD as the investigation continues.
