Man Found Dead in Water at Tempe Town Lake
Officials are investigating after a man’s body washed ashore at Tempe Town Lake early Saturday morning.
The victim was estimated to be between 30 and 40 years old, but officials did not release his identity pending notification, said Tempe Police Department spokesman Dennis Dunn, referring to a release from the police department.
The man was found about 6:20 a.m. on the north shore of the lake, near Mill Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway, Dunn said.
The situation under which this occurred remains unknown, and the police are still exploring the case. Details should come in as investigations continue.
