Every year, thousands of Arizona high school students don’t have the opportunity to get a college degree.
It’s not because they’re not bright enough, it’s because their families can’t afford the cost.
At College Success Arizona, we’re doing our part to help talented Arizona students attend Arizona colleges and universities.
Students like Anna Flores, who is hoping to use her college education, centered in journalism and law, to advocate for immigrants pursuing the American Dream.
Anna, a graduate of Carl Hayden Community High School, in Phoenix, is pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
She is planning on attending law school at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU with the long-term goal of becoming an attorney.
Each fall, at the College Success Arizona Leaders & Legends luncheon, a community leader in the area of higher education support is recognized.
We are honored to announce that Mr. Ed Pastor, retired United States Congressman, has been selected as the 2016 Leaders & Legends honoree.
Past honorees for this event include Rich Dozer, Derrick Hall, Salt River Project, Robert Sarver, Don Smith, and John Zidich.
Please join us on Wednesday, October 26th, as we recognize Congressman Pastor for everything he’s done to promote education in Arizona, and across the country.

Since 2005, College Success Arizona has been able to provide over $15 million to help Arizona students with scholarships and specialized mentoring services.
This is possible through the generosity of individuals and organizations such as Freeport McMoRan, Helios Education Foundation, CopperPoint Mutual, Alliance Bank, and others,
This year alone, College Success Arizona awarded 50 four-year and 20 two-year scholarships for Arizona students to attend Arizona colleges and universities.
But, there are always more students that need help.
Please help support the mission of College Success Arizona by attending the Leaders & Legends fundraising luncheon at the Arizona Biltmore, on Wednesday, October 26th, or by supporting the organization with a generous donation.
Individual seats, as well as 10 person tables are available for you and your friends.
Together, we can provide services to Arizona’s most deserving students.
Limited seating is still available. Individual seats are available for $250, and table sponsorships begin at $2,500. Additional sponsor opportunities are also available.
