Huppenthal to speak at Vail conference

Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction, John Huppenthal, will be in Vail Wednesday, March 12 to give the keynote address at the PowerSchool Users Group Conference (PSUG), hosted by the Vail School District.

The conference will be at Vail’s newest school, Esmond Station School, 9400 S. Atterbury Wash Way (off of Mary Ann Cleveland Way, east of Empire High School).

Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction John Huppenthal will speak Wednesday at a Vail Unified School District Conference.

Mr. Huppenthal is scheduled to speak at 10:00 a.m.

PowerSchool provides parents and students with real-time information on grades, attendance, homework, scores, teacher comments, school bulletins, etc.

Participants, which include teachers, office managers, IT staff and administrators will have breakouts sessions concerning the PowerSchool program and what new training needed for the upcoming school year.

This conference is for the users of PowerSchool, including Vail, Sahuarita, Safford, Deer Valley and Prescott School Districts, Arizona Department of Education, and Pearson School Systems.
