Horseshoe Trails Elementary School in Cave Creek, Ariz. and Chengdu Jiaxiang Foreign Languages School in Sichuan Province, China launched their new sister school relationship through a Skype Night.

The grand finale was attempting to sing a song from their favorite movie together, Frozen.

Both Chinese and American students had their parents sitting in the back, witnessing this new age of global communication.

One student from China went to the microphone and said, “I love you” – our students answered with “pai pai shu” or “applause!”

The Chinese Dual Language Immersion Program at Horseshoe Trails is currently accepting applications for a limited number of kinder and 1st grade seats for the 2015-16 school year.
