Budget cuts from Aggregate Expenditure Limit impact AZ schools

Thanks to Chris Kotterman from Arizona School Boards Association, we have the attached report from the Arizona Department of Education that shows the $1.1 billion of budget cuts from the Aggregate Expenditure for Arizona school districts.

The legislature needs to override the Aggregate Expenditure Limit by March 1, 2022 or districts all across the state will need to make $1.1 billion in budget cuts to this year’s budget.

We all need to work together to get the legislature to override the limit.
