One in five school age children in Maricopa County live in poverty and struggle to buy necessary school supplies. One way to ensure all Maricopa County students are ready for a successful school year is to meet this basic need.
You can support students in need by donating backpacks and other supplies at the upcoming Maricopa County Home and Garden Show.
Or donate any three of the following items and receive one free ticket: 4-pack of glue sticks; Pack of ballpoint pens (12/box); Box of no. 2 pencils (12/box); Box of colored pencils (12/box); Box of water-based markers (8/box); Box of crayons (16/box); 4-pack of dry erase markers; Single subject spiral-bound notebook; Package of loose-leaf notebook paper; Pocket folders; or Scotch tape.
The Maricopa County Home and Garden Show is July 17, 18, and 19 at the University of Phoenix Stadium.
Bring your donated items to MCESA’s table at Gate 2 to receive your ticket, and proceed directly to the entrance.
Persons interested in donating but are not planning on attending the home and garden show may drop donations off at MCESA, 4041 N. Central Ave, Suite 1200.
