Instead of taking ice buckets, Assistant Principal Brent Edwards will be dunked into a freezing tank of ice water for every $5 donation to ALS research on Friday, Sept. 19.

Desert Sky Middle School in the Vail School District is taking the ALS Challenge to a whole new level.

This is a cause dear to Mr. Edwards and his family, as his father-in-law died earlier this summer from this disease.

Desert Sky Middle School Students and staff will have the chance to dunk the assistant principal for a good cause!

The dunk challenge will start at 11:45am and will end at 3:30pm at the Desert Sky campus, 9850 E. Rankin Loop.

Every cent raised will go to the ALS Association of Arizona.
