Get a first-hand look at what the Medical, Engineering and Technology (MET) Professional Academy has to offer at the MET Launch Showcase taking place at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23 in the Peoria High School Old Main building at 11200 N. 83rd Avenue in Peoria.
The Launch Showcase will take you through the three departments of MET, Medical, Engineering and Technology with a presentation highlighting each program. Guests will also be able to tour that state of the art facility, including the collaborative spaces where students discover, create and innovate.
The MET Professional Academy is an innovative approach to education and is designed to motivate students by treating them as working professionals and preparing them for higher education.
Students enrolled in the program are immersed in a professional setting and gain experience working with real employers who will help them learn through authentic projects.
