Javier Zavala Monge started off the school year with one goal.

He was determined to graduate as quickly as possible, and he made it.

Monge is Bostrom High School‘s first graduate of the 2018-2019 school year after completing his coursework just 2 ½  weeks into the year.

Javier will go on to pursue his Cyber Security Certification through Gateway Community College.

“Javier came to us four years ago at the start of his sophomore year,” principal Deana Gillespie said.  “He completed most of his coursework in ‘brick and mortar’ classes, but blew through his last several credits through hybrid Edgenuity (online) classes.”

“He’s pretty much the model student for an alternative campus,” Gillespie said.
