The Queen Creek Unified School District has launched a new app that will allow families to monitor daily school bus transportation information for their respective students while also improving lines of communication between families and the District.

The “Here Comes the Bus” app is available for any family who has eligible students utilizing District transportation services.

“We are proud to add GPS and the ‘Here Comes the Bus’ app to our fleet of buses,” said Peggie Overton, director of transportation for the district. “We believe this upgrade will provide an extra level of security for our students, improve customer service, and increase efficiency within our department.”

The app has the following features:

  • Notifications on any bus number changes
  • Notifications alerting families when a bus is approaching the bus stop
  • Customizable features for different devices, depending on how parents are viewing the app or website

Families should receive a specific code from the district which will provide access to the app and website.

For assistance, questions, and/or requests regarding “Here Comes the Bus”, QCUSD families can email the Transportation Department at hctb@qcusd.org or call 480-987-5982 from 5:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
