A tragic shooting incident in Nicholasville on Saturday morning led police to multiple locations as they investigated the death of a 20-year-old woman, identified as Isabella Walsh.
Police were called to Edwards Road, which was the residence of one of the victims. After some investigation, officers discovered Walsh’s boyfriend, 21-year-old Willy Milfort Jr., as a suspect. Within minutes, an arrest warrant was obtained and officers went to Milfort’s family home on Winners Circle.
Upon arrival, Milfort apparently took his own life before he could be brought in.
The Nicholasville Police Department extended their sympathies to the families and members of the community. Officially, the case was still under investigation, wherein further details would be sought regarding the incidents.
