There was a self-inflicted gunshot wound on a student at Atherton High School in Louisville. The school was said to occur on Thursday morning by the Louisville Metro Police.
Jefferson County Public Schools officials state that this is the student’s own doing; he accidentally shot himself while trying to put away a firearm. The teenager was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Because the case is still under investigation, authorities have not issued further information on this issue. Updates will be given as soon as the authorities have gathered more information.
