A motorcycle accident is being reported in the area of Indian School Road near 40th Street to 44th Street in Phoenix.
According to police, a motorcycle rider collided with another vehicle near 42nd Street at 6 a.m. The rider of the motorcycle was badly injured and pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities aren’t saying who the victim is.
Indian School Road is likely to be closed for several hours today as investigators work to piece together what led to the crash of an eastbound semi, which was heading down 12th Avenue at the time of the accident.
Drivers are asked to steer clear of the area and find alternative routes to continue their journey.
