South Phoenix Shooting Leaves Man Hospitalized – Schools Locked Down as Suspect Remains at Large

The incident occurred on August 21 at approximately 7:45 a.m. in the area of 40th Street and Baseline Road.

When police from Phoenix Police arrived on the scene, they discovered the victim had been shot. They brought him to a hospital.

For a brief period, several local schools were placed under lockdown as police looked for the culprit.
