After gunshots were fired at police in Phoenix late on Monday night, police say they are looking for suspects.
The event took place close to Central Avenue and Thomas Road at approximately 10:15 p.m.
When Phoenix Police saw two cars speeding, they attempted to pull over one of the cars when the occupants opened fire on them multiple times.
There was no harm done to the cops.
The car came to a stop close to Catalina Drive and 2nd Street, and several of the occupants fled.
“Currently, officers have an area blocked off as they complete a search for the suspects,” police stated. “One individual has been detained but more maybe outstanding.”
