In collaboration with the West Side Nut Club, Evansville Mayor Stephanie Terry will host her third Travelling City Hall meeting. According to Joe Atkinson, the director of communications, locals can meet with city officials on Wednesday, September 5, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Howell Shelter.
These officials will include Mayor Terry and department leaders from throughout the city. According to Atkinson, Mayor Terry will give a few brief words at the start of the event, including updates from the Mayor’s Office. Following that, citizens will have the chance to talk with representatives from every department of the city directly about their problems.
“Getting to know the people of Evansville is one of my favourite aspects of my work,” Mayor Terry remarked. As a city, it’s critical to pay attention to the problems, worries, and desires of its citizens and to act accordingly.
We have the chance to accomplish it thanks to the Travelling City Hall. According to Atkinson, the last Travelling City Hall will take place in early December of 2024; further information will be disclosed at a later time.
