Following a shootout involving Mesa police officers on Wednesday night, one individual is dead.
It occurred shortly before 7:20 p.m., close to Loop 101 and Main Street. No cops were hurt during the encounter, according to the police.
At this point, it’s unclear what precipitated the shooting.
The police advise people to stay away from the area.
