Following a collision that forced one of the involved vehicles into a canal, two children were brought to the hospital, according to a Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office representative.
The cause of the crash, which occurred just after 7 a.m. near Perryville and Yuma roads, is yet unknown.
As a precaution, the kids were taken to the hospital, but everyone managed to escape the car, according to the officials. There were no other injuries recorded.
A motorbike that was crashed close to the scene was seen on helicopter footage. The motorcyclist rear-ended another car following the initial collision, according to MCSO confirmation. The rider’s injuries were not life-threatening when they were brought to the hospital.
