An eastbound vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian before 4 am, closing the Stack interchange at Interstate 10 in Phoenix, the Arizona Department of Public Safety reported.
According to the authorities, the pedestrian was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries and later died from the injuries. The authorities are yet to confirm whether the vehicle that caused the accident left the scene of the accident.
The eastbound lanes of I-10 were reopened following thorough investigations. However, DPS advises that drivers should exercise caution as emerging details in the incident are coming to the limelight.
