According to the Lexington Police Department, a shooting occurred on Tates Creek Road in Lexington on Thursday morning that resulted in one injury.
Police said they arrived at the location shortly before 6:00 a.m. and found a person with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
To receive medical attention for their wounds, the sufferer was sent to a nearby hospital.
The police claim not to know anything about a suspect.
Police in Lexington are requesting that anyone with knowledge about the shooting contact them.
