A man died and another was shot early Friday evening in the St. Denis neighborhood of Louisville, according to the Louisville Metro Police.
Details stated that officers of the LMPD Second Division responded to reports of a shooting in the 3100 block of Melody Acres Lane around 6:15 p.m. when they found a man shot.
Shortly after, another man with gunshot wounds was found at a local gas station on the corner of Rockford Lane and Cane Run Road. Police are still trying to determine where this second shooting took place but believe both incidents are related.
The two victims were taken to UofL Hospital for treatment, where one later died. The condition of the other man has not been released.
LMPD continues investigation of circumstances into the shooting.
