Lexington Police are investigating a shooting that left one person in the hospital overnight. Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 300 block of West Short Street near Mill Street shortly after midnight.
Police had arrived at the scene where they discovered another vehicle had shots. Not very long after the police had arrived at the scene, they were notified that there was a second victim at a different location. The victim received not critically injurious wounds and was transported directly to the hospital for further treatment.
So far, no suspect has been identified. Today, police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the possible suspects. Police ask those who know anything about the incident to contact police officials.
