Mesa mobile home fire leads to power outage, gas leak and minor injuries

Early on Friday morning, a fire in Mesa that destroyed many mobile homes resulted in a gas leak, a power outage, and minor injuries. Around two in the morning, the fire started close to Main Street and Alma School Road.

Reporters are informed by fire officials that although the fire started in one trailer, it swiftly spread to two more. Police allegedly sent two persons with “very minor injuries” to a hospital.

A downed power line and power loss in the region forced the residents to relocate. Additionally, according to fire officials, a gas leak was found; however, it is unclear if this occurred before the fire started or as a result of it.
