Police in Phoenix said they were called to a reported shooting at 5:30 in the morning at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Cactus Road.

Officers discovered a male who had sustained at least one gunshot wound when they arrived.

The man suffered severe injuries and was sent to the hospital.

It’s unclear who might be in detention. As of yet, no suspicious information has been made public.
