Man dead after being shot in roller skating rink parking lot in Louisville

Early on Monday morning, a man was shot and died in the parking lot of a roller skating rink in Louisville. At midnight, Robben’s Roost, situated at 5906 Six Mile Lane, was visited by Louisville Metro police. A police department news release stated that a man in his early 20s was found by authorities with a gunshot wound to his chest.

Although officers provided assistance, the individual was subsequently declared deceased on the spot. The homicide unit of the LMPD is looking into it. There was a “crowd” of individuals there when the crime happened, according to the police.

It is requested that anyone with information contact 502-574-LMPD, the anonymous tip line. As of this morning on Monday, no one had been arrested. The victim’s identify has not been made public by the police.
