The Jackson County Fire Department’s Facebook page states that a commercial fire has forced the closure of Main Street in Jackson County. The fire, which started at 4:06 a.m., is described as “major.”
Highway 1812, or Lower Main Street, is closed. When additional information becomes available, we will update this report.
