The death toll for four of those on board has been reported, which are listed as follows:

  • Spencer Lindahl, 43
  • Rustin Randall, 48, (the pilot, as per sources)
  • Drew Kimball, 44
  • Graham Kimball, 12

They were a family traveling together from a trip to Provo, Utah, when their plane crashed. The other person on board the airplane is alive, but the victim has severe burns and is in the hospital.

In addition to those on board the plane, a motorist struck by the aircraft also lost his life. Authorities would not release the identity of the driver as authorities are still trying to locate and contact his family to notify them of the situation.

A huge fire broke out after the fiery crash, which led to an in-depth investigation and roadblocks around the area, forcing Greenfield Road to be closed between McKellips and McDowell roads as of Wednesday morning. Police are advising people to steer clear of the scene while alternative routes are put into place while the investigators are working at the site.

The cause of the accident is not known to date, and an investigation has been opened by the National Transportation Safety Board. More news can be expected as authorities sort to reconstruct the stages that led to this tragic accident.
