Teacher Night
On the first Wednesday of the month, educators can climb for free on their first visit to Bouldering Project and then for $10 on future Teacher Night visits. The discounted day pass grants access to all Bouldering Project classes and activities including the expansive rock climbing space, yoga studios and fitness gym. Any educator or school employee can participate in Teacher Night deals by showing their school ID.
Homeschool Hang
Homeschool families are invited to “hold class” at Bouldering Project on the first and third Thursday of every month from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. During the Homeschool Hang, families can use the multipurpose room next to the youth climbing area for studying and socializing. Students receive discounted day passes for $13 and free rental shoes and can take breaks to climb throughout the morning. Supervising adults do not need to purchase day passes. Waivers are required for kids and adults to be in the space.
Housed in a 53,000 square foot building near the ASU Main Campus, Bouldering Project has rock climbing, yoga, weights and fitness and even a climbing area dedicated to the kiddos. In addition to the work out features, there’s also an in-house coffee kiosk, an indoor-outdoor lounge, work and study spaces and even an art gallery displaying works from local artists.
“Creating connections around community is at the core of our mission at Bouldering Project,” says market director Kyle Wiggins. “We have many ways people of all generations can engage and enjoy our spaces.”
Bouldering Project is located at 2626 S. Hardy, Tempe 85282. Registration for these events is available on its website at arizonaboulderingproject.com. Learn about other events and activities at Bouldering Project on its Instagram @arizonaboulderingproject.
