A home in the 3500 block of Pin Hook Road took heavy damage in a residential fire early Friday morning. The Nashville Fire Department arrived about 5:15 a.m. after conflicting information was relayed from those initial 9-1-1 reports, and crews could wait momentarily until the scene was confirmed safe.
Arriving crews found the house is fully engulfed in flames. Crews aggressively attacked the fire and prevented it from spreading to adjacent structures. No injuries.
Nashville Electric Service is being staged to the scene as a transformer appears to have blown just prior to the firefighters’ arrival. The American Red Cross is also being requested to assist at the scene with residents displaced by the fire.
The cause of the fire remains yet to be established.
