Driver damages home and cars after ramming into Phoenix yard

Police in Phoenix are looking into a crash that happened in south Phoenix that damaged a woman’s car, fence, and house.

On Saturday night, while Sylvia Fuentes was asleep in her house near 16th Street and Broadway Road, a car crashed into her yard, destroying her fence, hitting two other automobiles, and causing damage to the side of her house.

The collision was captured on video.

“I heard the loud boom, but I didn’t give it any thought because I had no idea what it was.” I was just half awake, Fuentes said.

She went back to sleep, but discovered the full extent of the destruction outside when she woke up a short while later.

“I realized there was a problem when I returned outside,” Fuentes remarked.

On Sunday morning, at around 12:30, Phoenix police responded. Investigators claim that by then, the driver had driven off with the vehicle.

Fuentes claimed that “nobody knocked on my door, nobody rang my doorbell.”

Fuentes, who is also dealing with major medical concerns, is suffering, particularly from the incident, while she waits to learn what might be reimbursed by insurance.

“You know, when you’re already dealing with life, health concerns, and everything else, it’s a dreadful nightmare. After that, you need to handle this. “Words cannot express it,” Fuentes stated.

She conveyed her message to the driver and any other parties who might be involved to ABC15.

“Please return. Accept accountability for your actions. Be yourself, a guy or a woman, Fuentes urged.
